Default Please help stinky pooh!

So, I switched my precious fur balls over to Innova (grainless) and their pooh is smelly(more than normal)..Any ideas on why?? Oh, they were previously on Wellness...I switched for something new(did so gradually).

Is it the Innova EVO?
I tried my girl on that and she experienced the same thing as well as very loose stools. She was also quite gassy on it.
It was just too rich for her system and once we changed foods she was good and back to normal. I really like the quliaty of that food and wished that she would have done better on it but not all foods will work with every dog!
Just need to keep trying different ones until you hit on one that agrees with them.

Cami,
thanks so much for the response but I was talking about my kitties(sorry I was not specific). Have you had this experience with your kitties too?

Okay, I checked out a few threads on my cat forum for you- there were 4 pages of just thread titles for this when I did a search- LOL! The ones I read said (for the most part, and I'll just give you the food switch answers ) that switching to a beef food made it worse, that adding a little plain yogurt would help (don't get the stuff with artificial sweetener), and several said it took a month for their cats to totally adjust to the new food and quit stinkin' up the place. Hope that helps!

I put the cat forum up here a while ago about finding a cat food- here it is again, if you'd like to do your own search- www.thecatsite.com ;) .
